This 100ft video and power cable 2-pack is perfect to extend your original camera cable. Q-See provides cables for all your surveillance needs. The BNC connectors provide easy 'plug & play' installation.
Please note that by extending the original camera cable using this extension will require the use of individual power supply for the camera(s) being extended. Typical cameras will use 12V 1A power supplies while larger cameras, like PTZs, will use 12V 1.5A power supplies. Notes
Always check State/Local Laws before installation (2011 NEC 8201.44).
For best results, run one solid cable to prevent video loss. If more is needed, use minimum inter-connection points as possible. If cable run exceeds 180ft, it is recommended to use Q-See's RG-59 Cable. If cable run exceeds 800ft, it is recommended to use RG-6 Cable. (Not sold by Q-See).If home or business is pre-wired with CAT5 Cable, you can run up to 1000 Ft (Video Balun or Powered Balun is recommended for easy installation).
